Reporting Copyright Infringement

If you believe that content available on Timescrolly infringes your copyright, you may submit a copyright infringement notice by email.

Please send a notice to copyright@timescrolly.com

To help us process your request efficiently, your notice should include the following information:

  1. Identification of the copyrighted work - A description of the work you claim has been infringed (or a representative list if multiple works are involved).
  2. Identification of the allegedly infringing content - The specific URL(s) on Timescrolly where the content appears.
  3. Your contact information - Your name, email address, and (if applicable) the organization you represent.
  4. Good-faith statement - A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
  5. Accuracy statement - A statement that the information in the notice is accurate and that you are the copyright owner or authorized to act on their behalf.

Notices that do not contain sufficient information may be delayed or not processed.

What Happens After We Receive a Notice

Upon receiving a valid copyright infringement notice, Timescrolly will:

  • review the notice;
  • take appropriate action, which may include removing or disabling access to the content;
  • notify the user who uploaded the content, where appropriate.

Timescrolly does not adjudicate copyright disputes but follows applicable legal procedures.

Counter-Notifications

In some cases, users whose content has been removed may be permitted to submit a counter-notification asserting lawful use of the material.

Where applicable, Timescrolly will follow relevant legal requirements regarding counter-notifications and content restoration.

Repeat Infringement

In appropriate circumstances, Timescrolly may suspend or terminate accounts of users who repeatedly infringe intellectual property rights.

Disclaimer

Submitting a copyright infringement notice is a legal statement. False or misleading notices may have legal consequences. If you are unsure whether material infringes your copyright, you may wish to seek legal advice before submitting a notice.
